The Origin of Revolutionary Design

Every business begins with a story. Massaro Holster Works is no exception. Founder, Eddie Massaro was still working full time as a machinist and mechanical engineer for Timken Steel in Canton, Ohio when one-weekend ride on his Harley would change the course of his life. Eddie is a strong proponent of the 2nd Amendment so when Ohio became a conceal carry state, he immediately got a permit. Riding his motorcycle and carrying is just quintessentially … Eddie.

When you save your pennies for anything, it’s always a bit more dear to you. That “thing” was Eddie’s Les Baer 1911. It was unmistakably his favorite weapon to carry.

Solving Problems

Imagine, if you will, riding down the highway, feeling your holster give and knowing the rig is slipping.

This is what happened to Eddie. Upon pulling over, he discovered his holster was coming apart. He averted disaster by realizing it and getting off the road before he lost that Les Baer, but he was also seriously upset that the situation even occurred.

Eddie already spent his days solving problems by building tools in the steel industry. He knew, without a doubt, he could build a better holster.

That’s how Massaro Holster Works was born.

Eddie Massaro

How does one evolve into an American Patriot? There’s no one recipe. Our brothers and sisters who believe in their right to bear arms, their right to conceal that weapon to better protect themselves, their loved ones or their neighbors can generally find common ground. It’s not always in how they came to apply for a concealed carry permit.

Eddie Massaro was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio. He will tell you he was blessed to be raised by wonderful parents and had a great childhood. Wooster is a fairly small town, hunting and fishing more common than not. Eddie grew up hunting and fishing and recognized firearms as for sport and rarely had to think using them for protection or defense. In rural America, a shotgun in the corner is typical and it’s just an unspoken given that it will be used however it’s needed to be used something goes bump in the night, the shotgun is employed regardless of what made the bump. It was later in life, after a couple of brushes with street violence when Eddie knew he’d apply for a carry permit. He had to wait for Ohio to pass the law, but he’s carried daily ever since.

Very Comfortable

I got one of the first holsters hot off the press for my Shield. I absolutely love it. Very comfortable, and unnoticeable. You can honestly forget that you are wearing it.

Best Holster on the Market!

I love this holster! The best holster to ever hit the market! I can even wear it with yoga pants and leggings! This is truly a holster that holds up what a woman needs!!!

– Ariol Dunlap

I LOVE this Holster

As someone who has several “great holsters” laying in the gun closet that just aren’t what they were cracked up to be.By simply changing the position of the holster I can carry cross draw at 10 or I can carry it at five at the small of my back or anywhere between. This thing is also very comfortable. There’s no pinching, binding or chafing with it. Give this holster a try. I promise that you will not be disappointed.

Great for Women!

Brilliant design! Ultra comfortable. Great for women as the design doesn’t require a belt. The backing pad has grip, doesn’t pinch or hurt. Moves with you and has no noticeable print.
